David’s Bridal

We were at David’s Bridal last night for their Bridesmaids Event. It was a lot of fun. We had some awesome vendors there. We had Mike with Jensen Wedding Films, Sharon with Sharon Hoyt Photography, Roxann with Marriage Minister, Teresa with Capital Confections, Stefanie with Galeazi’s Floral Design, Robert with Aloha Limousines, Heather with America’s Party Rentals, Beth with Anderson Hair Design, Leslie and Wendi with Definition Beauty, Ladies from Men’s Warehouse and Kevin with the Courtyard Marriott. We had a blast and gave out tons of raffles. Here’s a few pics and a slideshow Sharon put together, thanks Sharon: Slide show of David’s Bridal

Everything was beautiful, the linens from Heather to the flowers by Stefanie. It was all put together by Chheavy Puth of Absolute Wedding and Events. The minute you walked in it was so inviting with all the vibrant Bridesmaid dresses. Awesome job Chheavy!

Mobile Beat Las Vegas 2009

We just got back from Las Vegas. We were at the Mobile Beat Disc Jockey Convention. It was Phenomenal! We learned so much. We love continually growing our business and learning. We have so much info to process and we can’t wait to add even more value to our services. Here’s a few pictures… One of them is with Peter Merry. He is an awesome DJ in Southern Cali and he wrote the book, “The Best Wedding Reception Ever“. If you don’t have it yet, you really need to get it. You can ask your DJ. Many in Sacramento give them out if you book.

Also we wanted to give a shout out to Doug Harmon and the ADJA Sacramento Chapter. We just joined the association but have been attending their meetings for a while. Doug is the President of the Sacramento Chapter and they won Chapter of the year from the ADJA. That is so awesome!  Below are a few pictures of them getting the award and all the ADJA members from Sacramento their representing. Our market is amazing and we are excited to be a part of it.

Dave and Whitney

What a splendid couple. We did their wedding February 7 at Embassy Suites downtown. We always love working there, the staff is so nice and great to work with. They had Bella Pictures, which is a nation wide company, do the pictures. Their photographer was very professional and nice to work with. We only did the reception but it was awesome. We ended up staying 1 1/2 hours overtime because everyone was having so much fun. We had over 3 hours of dancing! They had a delightful crowd who enjoyed themselves a lot and Dave and Whitney were just the cutest and happiest couple. They did cupcakes instead of cake which can be really cute. LuLu’s in Elk Grove created them and everyone liked them a lot. Here were their special song choices:

Introduction Flower Girls: Peanut Butter & Jelly Time

Introduction Groomsmen: Hey Ladies by the Beastie Boys

Introduction Bridesmaids: Redneck Woman by Gretchen Wilson

Bride and Groom Intro: All you Need is Love by the Beatles

First Dance: Bless This Broken Road by Rascal Flatts

Father/Daughter Dance: Somewhere Over the Rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwo’ole

Mother/Son Dance: Have I Told you Lately by Van Morrison

Cake Cutting: Recipe for Love by Harry Connick Jr.

Last Dance: I’ve Had the Time of my Life by Jennifer Warnes and Bill Medley

Recognition Dinner for AFWPI

So Tuesday February 3 we had our Recognition Dinner for Association for Wedding Professionals Int. It was AMAZING! I first want to give Jenny with Sun City Roseville kudos for all her hard work, she was so great to work with. This was the first time we had the pleasure to work with her and she is so devoted to what she does, she puts her all in to it. She also did a dessert buffet which was amazing, I will have to add pictures when we get some! Mike Anderson with Creative Memories Entertainment was the Emcee and he did a phenomenal job. He also did all the uplighting inside. This event was so great to be a part of, it’s not often you get numerous vendors in every category to work together to pull off this large of an event. I think their were 5 of us DJ companies setting up and running the event with Mike. It was so great to be a part of it. We got to do some lighting in the entry way here’s a few pictures below. Oh and a side note I was blessed to win the Team Spirit Award, I was so surprised and grateful to be considered. I also received the associations Vice President Julias’ 82nd Airborne pin from her dad. Long story short it was for going sky diving with her, you can search the blog for the story. I was so touched and honored to receive it.

The decorators Cathy with Visual Impact Design, Shannon with Flourish, Darcie with Slip of Elegance and Jenny and her staff at Sun City Roseville made the room look outstanding! Wow, with Mike’s lighting and their decor it made the event. Phill with Sheffield Multimedia who did all the video, commercials and clips also was fantastic. He has a way with capturing your attention and keeping it, we love his work and know how hard he works too. Anyone would be lucky to book him and we promise you he would do all he could to make your video amazing, it’s so worth it. Also Jessica with Scarlet Design and Invitation Consulting did our invites, I loved them soooo much. I know this is kinda long so I will stop but we had so many wonderful vendors working this event to make it the success it was. I will for sure add pictures when I get them.
