Todd and Kathryn

They may be one of our favorite couples this year so far!! Ok we can’t say that because all our couples are our favorite but they were just a lot of fun. We did a lot of fun things at their wedding. Todd and Kathryn had their beautiful Ceremony at Empire Mine State Historic Park. Sooo cute. This was our first time there and we would love to go back. They had their Reception at the Alta Sierra Country Club in Grass Valley. Great staff to work with! I have a few pics from the Ceremony and Reception site to give you an idea. It was much prettier and the tables were round and had amazing linens from Mimi and Co. Dinner tables were released by songs from their favorite movies. I have the list below. We played clips to release the tables which was fun and interactive and personalized for Todd and Kathryn. They love music and movies and we were able to incorporate it into the reception. We also introduced all their wedding party into the reception with their own song which was a surprise to them and they ate it up. Each one danced their way into the Reception. Here’s some pics and their songs:

Jeff and Monika

Jeff and Monika

How cute is this couple? This adorable couple was married May 16, what a popular day this year… The wedding and reception took place at Wine and Roses in Lodi, Ca. Erin there was so sweet and great to work with. We also got to work with one of our favorite photographers Rachelle with Rachelle Photography. She had Sarah Maren with Sarah Maren Photography shoot with her, they were so fun to work with and got some amazing pictures. Here’s some of Rachelle’s pictures. I just love her work 🙂 I actually found out that River City Cake did their cake and it was soooo cute. Everyone was talking about it! We also did some uplighting in the room which I think changed the whole room. But this is what Monika and Jeff said about it:

“…The lighting you did was amazing as well… it gave the entire ballroom a different feel and really made our pictures much more detailed. We had so many compliments from our guests…”

They were so fun and great to work with. I am so glad we were able to be a part of their special day! Here’s their songs and more pics:

Kyle and Kari

Kyle and Kari's Wedding at Whitney Oaks Country Club

This awesome couple got married May 9th at Whitney Oaks Golf Club. Lindsey there is amazing and so sweet. We loved working with her. Everyone there at the Golf Club were so professional and accommodating. Anything the bride and groom needed they tried their best to get it. Her friend did the flowers and decor, it was very cute but simple. It really fit the day. We loved this wedding. What a great way to start off our May!! Kari made me laugh all day and Kyle was so excited about everything. Him and his groomsmen walked into Sharp Dressed Man by ZZ Top for the Ceremony and he was so excited, it was perfect. You can see his reaction in the pics. Kari and Kyle were so fun and animated, and their photographers really caught every moment. The pictures are gorgeous. Amber and Alan with Artistic Imagery we wonderful. Their pictures were phenomenal. I couldn’t pick just 2 or 3 I had to do 8 so enjoy. Also check out their Blog to see even more. We met them for the first time at Kari and Kyle’s wedding and hope to work with them again. Here’s their pics and song choices:

Mother’s Day – Network of Strength Breast Cancer Walk

Network of Strength

To Donate:

We are so excited for this weekend. We have an awesome Wedding on Saturday which we will Blog about later but we also have our annual Breast Cancer Walk for the Network of Strength on Mother’s Day. We have spent the last 3 years Djing this event and I have walked with all our boys. This is an amazing organization. They offer numerous services to make sure no one faces Breats Cancer alone.

Breast Cancer Network of Strength uniquely provides peer support through YourShoes™, a 24/7 breast cancer support center staffed by breast cancer survivors who know first-hand what it is like to walk in the shoes of someone who is facing the disease. The hotline interpreters in more than 150 languages. When you dial —even in the middle of the night—your call is answered by a trained peer counselor who is a breast cancer survivor. Get in touch with us at the YourShoes 24/7 Breast Cancer Support Center by calling 1-800-221-2141.
