I just wanted to write up a quick post a throw up a quick picture of the beautiful Orchard Creek Lodge at Sun City Lincoln Hills. We just provided lighting for Liz. It was a soft rose that really set a intimate ambiance since that room can seem huge. Our good friend Marsa with DJ Crooner and Associates rocked their wedding as you can see the guests in the picture. They had a blast!

Mike and Michelle were awesome to work with! They were so excited about all their wedding plans and vendors. We did Michelle’s brother’s wedding a few years back. Shawn and Lisa are definitely a couple we remember, Lisa is now a Wedding Planner with Berry Beautiful Weddings. She helped Michelle with some of Michelle’s planning but Michelle did a lot of it. She knew what she wanted! They were married June 11 at The Ranch House in the heart of Whitney Ranch Rocklin, Ca. We had never been there but it it tucked away. It’s a little secret in Rocklin I guess. The property is huge and has lots of beautiful architecture to it.
We provided DJ, Emcee, Coordination, lighting and our NEW PHOTO BOOTH! We were excited to have them be one of our first events with our new booth. Michelle was very excited about the booth but her family thought it may be tacky. A valid concern but she did it anyways and her family were the ones using it the most! Photo Booths really add a lot to an event, be sure to check out Sound Image Photo Booths.
Michelle loves pink so it’s only expected she has lots of pink. Pink flowers, pink lighting, pink accents for her dress, etc. Primo Bar was their Bartenders and they did PHENOMENAL!! The bar was even lit up pink. We don’t know of a lot of Bar Companies but they are our favorite! Awesome customer service, so professional, neat looking light up bar, just the whole package. If you are looking for a Bar or Bartenders consider them, You will not be disappointed.
Fresh and Quick Catering did their catering. Sooooo good! They had a nice selection of food that was so yummy! We always like working with them. The staff is so friendly (super important) and they always go above and beyond. We cannot stress enough how important it is to use professionals. It makes the event enjoyable and stress-free. Not that things don’t ever go wrong but we are just prepared better since we are professionals.
Their beautiful oober delicious cupcakes were by Icing on the Cupcake! They are located in old Rocklin, and specialize in cupcakes. LOVE THEM! Mike and Michelle even got extras so people could take them home. Well here are their song choices:

Holy brightness. LOVED LOVED LOVED these colors. So yummy. Liz and Joe were married June 13 and had their Reception at such a cute place. Their colors really brighten and uplifted the room. Shannon with Flourish did their flowers. All our vendors rocked! She did some gorgeous centerpieces, one of our favs for sure. Beth with True Love Photo knocked her pics out of the park with this one! Liz and Joe were so cute in front of the camera and worked their photos. Thanks Beth for the pics! Check her BLOG for more…
Capital City Catering provided a nice spread of food. I just wanted to keep going back and eat (I didn’t of course!). The staff set up everything nicely and we were able to trouble shoot some problems and rearrange this so the guests would be more comfortable. So nice to work with.
I don’t have a lot to say about Liz and Joe’s wedding because it almost wasn’t a wedding. It was during the day on a Sunday so not the typical feel of a wedding. And the love that was their amongst all their friends and family was just like a huge Sunday family dinner. Probably some of the best toasts we have heard in a long time. So spiritual and centered around Christ. Thinking about them makes me happy, their cute adorable happiness is contagious. Here’s their song choices:

Happiest, funniest, full of life couples we have ever worked with. WE LOVE THEM! (Well we love all our couples but you know) Just thinking about them makes me smile. Shane is so patient and loving to Michele. Michele may have been stressed and worried the whole time during the planning stages but the day of her wedding she sat back and enjoyed the ride. I am so glad she did. They were married at The Chateau at Incline Village in Lake Tahoe on May 29th. Weather ended up being perfect, the rehearsal night it snowed! I was so worried but the day of was beautiful. Their Ceremony site is breathe taking, it over looks the mountains that had a hint of snow on them.
I wanted to give a shout out to their parents. Both sets of parents are so very sweet and fun. Shane’s parents are hilarious and Michele’s are so caring and full of love. It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of this wonderful couples wedding day and share it with their family and friends.
We had some hard working vendors making sure Shane and Michele’s wedding day was flawless (or at least appear so). Maggi at The Chateau was the nicest Banquet Coordinator ever! She bent over backwards for them and made sure she could do all she could to accommodate Shane and Michele’s requests. Sean and Elke Seymour with 358 Studios, Photography and Film did their wedding video. We haven’t seen it yet but are looking forward to it. They were so professional and easy to work with. Martin Johanneck was their photographer, he is based in Woodland and everyone there knows him. Such a great guy. These are all his pictures of them in our post. We enjoy working with vendors that are working for the bride and groom!
Shane and Michele were full of smiles and laughs the whole day which set the tone and enjoyment for the day. Michele really wanted to see all her guests and say hi so we did a small receiving line at the of the ceremony. The stairs where the guests went up to enter the reception is where they stood and hugged all their guests. It was a really sweet personal touch that the guests appreciated. We had fun planning with them, especially Michele, she was so detailed oriented (like me). I was glad I was able to be there to help her take in her special day. Here’s their song choices:
Seating of Family: My Heart Will Go On (Instrumental)
Wedding Party Processional: Unchained Melody (Piano)
Bridal Processional: Bridal Chorus (Strings)
Unity Candle: One by Matthew Baute
Recessional: Then by Brad Paisley
Wedding Party Intro: Sexyback by Justin Timberlake
Bride and Groom Intro: Addicted to Love by Robert Palmer
First Dance: Can’t Help Falling in Love by Elvis
Cake Cutting: Cut the Cake by the Average White Band
Father/Daughter Dance: My Little Girl by Tim McGraw
Mother/Son Dance: A Song for Mama by Boyz II Men
Money Dance: Money by Barrett Strong, We Need Money by Chuck Brown
Bouquet Toss: Single Ladies by Beyonce
Garter Toss: You Got Lucky by Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers
Kick off Song: Get the Party Started by Pink
Last Dance: Smile by Uncle Kracker
