Tent at Le Rivage in Pink

Now this is no Rachelle picture but it let’s you see the ceiling in Pink! (We took it) The walls were green too, but can’t see it here.

We LOVED this couple, sooooo cute and fun! I could go on forever about how wonderful they are but I will refrain. They were a treat to work with and so fun. They were married June 20 at Le Rivage Hotel in their tent outside. It was a beautiful day and great vendors. Shannon at Le Rivage is awesome, we heard over and over about how awesome Scott’s Seafood was (caterer’s with hotel), everyone was talking about it. We also got to work with the phenomenal Rachelle with Rachelle Photography. She got some adorable pictures and captured all the “brightness” of the day. Casey and Chrissy had their Ceremony in the back on the lawn next to the tent and the reception inside the tent. It was a little windy but didn’t blow the happiness of the day away. We did songs for all the wedding party intros which they ate up and had a lot of dancing!! Here’s their songs and some pictures (ok a lot, too many to choose from) from Rachelle, check out her blog for more.

Josh and Lana’s Destination Wedding and Hometown Reception

Written by soundimage21 on June 24th, 2009

Destination Weddings by Sharpe Photographers

This cute couple was married Thursday the 11th in Lake Tahoe and then had their reception in his parents backyard in Fair Oak on Saturday. It was a very laid back wedding, everyone there was enjoying themselves and just visiting. Mostly everything was do it yourself so not a lot of vendors. A cute idea they did was blow up some of the Ceremony pictures from Tahoe and had two huge banners with their pictures. That way it included the guests that weren’t at the Ceremony. Lana’s nieces also sung some songs and played the piano which was so sweet. The family was so close and it was not the typical wedding. They really took the time to enjoy the reception and kept the ceremony intimate to their closest family members. We don’t have any pictures from there wedding but here are a few of destination weddings by Sharpe Photographers! Also here are their song selections:

Brent and Sydne were married June 6th. They had their Ceremony at the State Capitol in the Rose Garden and had their Reception at the West Sacramento Civic Center Galleria. We only did lighting for this wedding. They are ADORABLE! Sean with Now 2 Eternity Photography did a phenomenal job with their pictures. We met Sean a few months back and he is an amazing photographer. We saw his website and portfolio and were soooo impressed, he is so talented and takes beautiful pictures. We hope to work with him someday! Brent and Synde’s pictures were no exception. Here are some with our lighting in the background and some other’s just because they are so cute and Sean is the BEST!

Aaron and Gina after the Ceremony

June 6th was the weekend after the crazy thunderstorms and lightning. We were worried we were going to have to go to plan B but the weather turned out PERFECT! Aaron and Gina were so upbeat and happy, wonderful to work with. They were married in a close family friends backyard in Placerville. It was an intimate wedding with close family and friends. The love was all around!

Aaron, Gina and the whole wedding party had the best sense of humor, laughing and smiling the whole day. We did fun intro’s with the wedding party and they rocked it. The food was really good, Old Town Grill in Placerville catered and they had an AWESOME staff. The cake was gorgeous, Divine Desserts in Loomis was our cake maker. Our beautiful flowers were provided by Le Fleur Florist in Placerville, such sweet ladies. Last but not least we worked with Rachelle with Rachelle Photography and Beth assisted. They are so amazing we love them. Enjoy Rach’s pictures and their song choices:

Rob and Ashley’s Black and White Floral Wedding!

Ashley and Robert's Wedding at Capitol Plaza Ballroom

Adorable! That’s all I can say about Ashley and Rob. He works at Lowe’s and she works at Home Depot, it’s like a match made in heaven. We got to know these two very well during our planning sessions. Ashley is so funny and kept us laughing through it all and Rob is so sweet and loves Ashley so much.

This cute couple was married May 30 at the Capitol Plaza Ballrooms in Downtown Sacramento in The Fraternity Ballroom. It is such a beautiful building with lots of detail and history. All the details from this wedding was perfect for them, from the gorgeous black and white centerpieces and bouquets accented with greenery provided by the fabulous Martha Andrews with Blooms by Martha (random note, we grabbed some linens for Ashley from Mimi and Company which were amazing for the head table and cake table and the sweet Martha put them on with everything so we could get ready, thanks Martha!) to the sweet bull dog cake toppers on the delicious cake provided by Patrick of the Village Cake Shoppe, we loved it! Everyone was so happy and enjoyed themselves. The intros were entertaining with songs for each couple, the toasts were hilarious and everything was beautiful. Below are their song choices along with some amazing pictures from the talented Jessica Stout with Stout Photography. She was so fun to work with and we love the pictures. We hope to work with her again soon!

Andreas and Laura’s “Simple” Wedding

Written by soundimage21 on June 12th, 2009

Simple but elegant. Laura and Andreas are too sweet, they were married May 29 at the rustic Firehouse Restaurant in Old Sacramento. This restaurant has so much history and character. I see why they picked this Venue, it fit their personality and the wedding they wanted. The restaurant is huge with inside and outside dining, our wedding was in the beautiful Courtyard in the back. The ambiance was perfect. Laura and Andreas had such great personalities, very easy going and knew why they were getting married. Their family and friends were so sweet, they were entangled in all the moments and memories of the night.

They had a friend marry them, cute centerpieces of movie covers with the faces photo-shopped of all their friends and family, M&M’s with their names and faces on them which was fun and lovely flowers. The wedding was simple but intimate. It was like we were all a big family and all WANTED to be there. Here is some pictures of the Firehouse Restaurant and their song choices:

Max and Angela’s Fabulous Pink and Aqua Wedding

Written by soundimage21 on June 11th, 2009

Wedding at Grand Island Mansion

We loved this wedding! Max and Angela were married May 28 at the beautiful Grand Island Mansion. They had Thais with Love at First Click Photography. She was so fun to work with and we are excited to see her pictures. This is a unique Venue, very old and full of history. It was built in 1917 and has an Italian Renaissance style villa. It is the largest privately owned estate in Northern,Ca. They have recently undergone extensive restoration and makes it the premier facility for weddings, receptions, corporate retreats, business conferences and private events. Immediate plans for the future include full spa services in the elegant style of a bygone era.

Now back to our wonderful bride and groom. We just did the reception and we started with toasts. Dinner was upstairs and then the guests made their way downstairs for toasts. They had a candy table for the favors which is always fun, the kids enjoyed it very much! I added a couple of pictures of the Venue and some lighitng we did. Here is their song choices:

Todd and Kathryn

Written by soundimage21 on May 26th, 2009

They may be one of our favorite couples this year so far!! Ok we can’t say that because all our couples are our favorite but they were just a lot of fun. We did a lot of fun things at their wedding. Todd and Kathryn had their beautiful Ceremony at Empire Mine State Historic Park. Sooo cute. This was our first time there and we would love to go back. They had their Reception at the Alta Sierra Country Club in Grass Valley. Great staff to work with! I have a few pics from the Ceremony and Reception site to give you an idea. It was much prettier and the tables were round and had amazing linens from Mimi and Co. Dinner tables were released by songs from their favorite movies. I have the list below. We played clips to release the tables which was fun and interactive and personalized for Todd and Kathryn. They love music and movies and we were able to incorporate it into the reception. We also introduced all their wedding party into the reception with their own song which was a surprise to them and they ate it up. Each one danced their way into the Reception. Here’s some pics and their songs:

Jeff and Monika

How cute is this couple? This adorable couple was married May 16, what a popular day this year… The wedding and reception took place at Wine and Roses in Lodi, Ca. Erin there was so sweet and great to work with. We also got to work with one of our favorite photographers Rachelle with Rachelle Photography. She had Sarah Maren with Sarah Maren Photography shoot with her, they were so fun to work with and got some amazing pictures. Here’s some of Rachelle’s pictures. I just love her work :) I actually found out that River City Cake did their cake and it was soooo cute. Everyone was talking about it! We also did some uplighting in the room which I think changed the whole room. But this is what Monika and Jeff said about it:

“…The lighting you did was amazing as well… it gave the entire ballroom a different feel and really made our pictures much more detailed. We had so many compliments from our guests…”

They were so fun and great to work with. I am so glad we were able to be a part of their special day! Here’s their songs and more pics:
