We were so honored to be called by Lindsey’s dad Mike to do his daughters wedding April 18. They live in Solvang, Ca (by Santa Barbara) and had their wedding there. We were happy to travel there to be a part of their wedding. It was cool that out of all the people he called in the surrounding areas he chose us all the way up in Sacramento. We think this wedding was almost perfect!
We did things a lot different than we usually do but we pulled it off! The schedule was really different but we think it flowed great. They had 250 or so guests in their backyard. They had a huge tent with 25 tables. They also had a lounge area with a smaller tent with wicker furniture and the bar which was great for the guests to relax and get away. The food was in stations which helped with the flow of the lines, people just went to the stations they wanted. Their cake was so beautiful and all the lighting. Her dad hired a lighting company to do all the lighting and no detail was over looked. Their backyard was an “L” shape. The Ceremony was along the side and the reception and lounge area was on the bottom.
We met them Friday and had the rehearsal that night as well. We hit it off right away, their family is amazing. The Wedding was Saturday and it was a long day but was AWESOME! Eddie and Lindsey had amazing guests and family and almost everyone stayed to the end. We are so glad we were able to be a part of it all! We also made it a family trip and brought the kids and my sister to watch them while we worked. Here’s a few pics and their songs:

They also did these centerpieces by themselves. They bought the flowers and had a florist show them how to do it, we got to help too. If you are looking to do some yourself these are awesome flowers to do, so easy to work with. Also something cool we did was they had all their couples at the wedding in a basket and every time they had to kiss (from the clinking on the glasses) then we pulled a name out and they got to kiss too. It was a fun way to get the guests involved and for the older ones to show them how it’s done
