These two are too cute! Their personalities are so fun. Kristen is so spunky and was absolutely gorgeous in her wedding dress! Jake loves her sooo much, it was so enjoyable to watch them interact. That’s why we do what we do, it’s all for love. :)

These two were married at Whitney Oaks Gold Club. Lindsey there is remarkable. Her and her staff are some of the hardest works we know! Besides, the venue is breath taking. We had the absolute pleasure of working with Jodi from Jodi Yorston Photography. These pictures are spectacular! We love working with Jodi. She knocks everything out in a timely manner but still gets these awesome shots! Thanks Jodi! Jajuan Francis with Design with Florae did a beautiful job with their flowers. The Ceremony set up was so amazing, I wish we had pictures to show you. It added to the gorgeous view from the ballroom at Whitney Oaks. She’s so good at what she does, love her!

When sitting and planning Jake and Kristen we go to know them and their vision of what they wanted for their wedding day. Their main goal was to have fun! Another thing he wanted to do was incorporate his mom but not make a big show of  it. So during the ceremony he placed a flower on her seat where she would have been sitting and gave his dad a hug. It was a sweet way to include her since she is no longer with us. They also had Jake’s sister Dana marry them. She was hilarious and really added a personal touch to their wedding. Though we recommend professionals because we have seen weddings with family or friends as the officiant not go great we enjoyed her.

Bryan and Fearon's Wedding by Jodi Yorston Photography

Everything about Bryan and Faren’s November wedding was beautiful. The couple, their family, the decor the love from all the guest. Just every aspect was beautiful! These two were a match made in heaven! They both have wonderful families that love them so much. Dena, Faren’s mom, was great. She worked so hard on their wedding. Bryan and Faren’s wedding took place at the Capitol Plaza Ballrooms, we were able to do some lighting at their wedding as well.

We had lots of musical entertainment throughout the evening. Pamela Pamperin is a extraordinary Harpist. Nothing can beat live entertainment so if you are considering live music check out her website. Her samples are flawless and so beautiful! Bryan’s brother KJ who is a Pastor was able to marry them and be his Best Man. It really can add a special touch having someone so close to you be so much a part of your wedding. Bryan and KJ were in a Quartet growing up so they got to entertain the guests and prepare something special for Faren with their awesome singing abilities during the reception. Bryan sang a song to Faren for his vows. It was so sweet. KJ sang along with Pam during the ceremony for the Unity Candle as well. These two and their friends were fantastic singers. It was truly a magical night.

We had the opportunity to work again with the rockin’ Jodi with Jodi Yorston Photography. We have got to work with her quite a bit this last year and absolute love her. Glad to add her to our list of vendors! She captured the love these two share as if it was a fairy tale.

Josh and Andrea's Wedding at Le Rivage Hotel

Are their smiles just not contagious?? Josh and Andrea let us be a part of their September wedding last year at Le Rivage Hotel. Perfect weather, perfect bride, perfect groom, perfect photographer, perfect day! Loved working with them. We were able to do some up lighting and ceiling wash in the tent for them. They wanted a nice romantic setting so opted for our soft rose and soft amber lighting options. It was subtle yet romantic. We got to work with the oh so wonderful and lovely Jodi with Jodi Yorston Photography. She was able to capture their personality with their pictures. We think Jodi is awesome and is easy to work with and really makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera! Enjoy her pictures…

Tyler and Alicia at the Old Sugar Mill

LOVE THEM! What a FANTABULOUS wedding! We did Tyler and Alicia’s wedding October 17 at the rustic Carvalho’s Family Winery at the Old Sugar Mill. We just are infatuated with this venue. It has so much history and uniqueness about it. The pictures are ALWAYS fun, edgy, funky and beautiful. Jodi with Jodi Yorston Photography did a gorgeous job. I had a hard time only picking a few so enjoy them all! The Old Sugar Mill has also graced the cover of many magazine’s. The current cover of Real Weddings Magazine was shot here. Check it out!

Back to Tyler and Alicia. They were sooo much fun to plan and work with. They always had a smile on their face and were always laughing, it was contagious. When planning with them they really wanted it to be fun and unique. They didn’t want the traditional wedding processionals and recessional but still wanted it elegant. One of our favorite String Quartets is the Vitamin String Quartet. They remake a lot of songs from hip hop to country. Look below for their selections.

This venue doesn’t need much decor but their centerpieces and linens were fabulous! The florist was Sandy with The Right Touch Florist. She had purple lights in some vases, lots of jewels and just a variety of deep colors. The picture in the post is of their head table but all of the centerpieces and bouquets were lovely. We really had a great team. We got to work with the wonderful Dawn and Nester with TLC Catering. They always do a great job and the food is always delicious. Both of them and their staff are so friendly and always moving. We just can’t get enough of them. We also got to work with Jodi with Jodi Yorston Photography which I mentioned earlier. We have been friends for awhile and finally got the chance to work together. Her and Scott were so fun to work with. We had a blast and the pictures are so stunning. Tyler and Alicia were working it all day with Jodi, she really can make you feel comfortable and help you capture all your memories. Tyler and Alicia are so energetic and happy, it shows in all their pictures. Here some of their flowers, loving the deep purple.

Usually we get to work with our sweetheart Erin but she is out of the office for personal reasons so until she is back we got to work with the bubbly Katy Baker with Adagio Weddings and Events. She is sooo fun and sooo full of energy. She jumps in and runs with it. She may not have planned from the beginning but she knows what’s up, thanks Katy!

So all in all it was a fun wedding. We had lots of dancing and laughing. I just can’t get enough of these two!
