Shane and Michele at The Chateau at Incline Village

Shane and Michelle at the Chateau at Incline Village

Happiest, funniest, full of life couples we have ever worked with. WE LOVE THEM! (Well we love all our couples but you know) Just thinking about them makes me smile. Shane is so patient and loving to Michele. Michele may have been stressed and worried the whole time during the planning stages but the day of her wedding she sat back and enjoyed the ride. I am so glad she did. They were married at The Chateau at Incline Village in Lake Tahoe on May 29th. Weather ended up being perfect, the rehearsal night it snowed! I was so worried but the day of was beautiful. Their Ceremony site is breathe taking, it over looks the mountains that had a hint of snow on them.

I wanted to give a shout out to their parents. Both sets of parents are so very sweet and fun. Shane’s parents are hilarious and Michele’s are so caring and full of love. It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of this wonderful couples wedding day and share it with their family and friends.

We had some hard working vendors making sure Shane and Michele’s wedding day was flawless (or at least appear so). Maggi at The Chateau was the nicest Banquet Coordinator ever! She bent over backwards for them and made sure she could do all she could to accommodate Shane and Michele’s requests. Sean and Elke Seymour with 358 Studios, Photography and Film did their wedding video. We haven’t seen it yet but are looking forward to it. They were so professional and easy to work with. Martin Johanneck was their photographer, he is based in Woodland and everyone there knows him. Such a great guy. These are all his pictures of them in our post. We enjoy working with vendors that are working for the bride and groom!

Shane and Michele were full of smiles and laughs the whole day which set the tone and enjoyment for the day. Michele really wanted to see all her guests and say hi so we did a small receiving line at the of the ceremony. The stairs where the guests went up to enter the reception is where they stood and hugged all their guests. It was a really sweet personal touch that the guests appreciated. We had fun planning with them, especially Michele, she was so detailed oriented (like me). I was glad I was able to be there to help her take in her special day. Here’s their song choices:

Jill and Ken’s James Bond Beach Wedding!

Ken and Jill's Ceremony on a beach in Lake Tahoe

How fun these two were! Ken and Jill had no detail was over looked. All the small touches were so cute and added so much character and expressed their personality. To name a few of my favorites were the basket of flip flops for all the guest for the ceremony, the buckets with flowers hanging on the ceremony seats, hats they made for all their guests and the small lantern bags that lined the dock. I took these pictures so not awesome but you get the idea. :) Oh and he is Danish so they also had traditional Danish cake along with a traditional wedding cake. Oh and they had picture frames with pictures of them at all the different cities they have been together, I LOVED that! Sorry I am just way excited now that I’m writing and remembering everything.

We met Jill and Ken once and planned by email and phone since they didn’t live here. They chose to have a destination wedding in Lake Tahoe at the Round Hill Pines Beach and Marina on September 12. It was beautiful, this was our first time there and it was fantastic. We loved Frank, he was so great to work with and they maintain their venue beautifully. Our weather was off and on, it sprinkled and stopped a few times during set up but it stayed clear for the ceremony which was perfect. (The bride before got rained on) We worked with all new vendors, Harrah’s Casino and Hotel catered the event and the food was gorgeous, almost too pretty to eat. Our officiant who was awesome was Reverend Sharon Rusk. She did a phenomenal job, it was a flawless ceremony. We loved being a part of this wedding so much. Ken and Jill have a lot of close friends and family and they really really enjoyed the night. When the hats came out that they made for everyone, we couldn’t get them out fast enough! Here were their song choices:
