Sacramento Wedding DJ ~ Jennifer and Ryan’s Sweet River Wedding on the Delta King

Sacramento Wedding DJ

Jenn and Ryan were married a little over a year ago on the infamous date of 10-10-10. I had this sitting in my drafts and wondered why I never posted it so here it is! They were the sweetest couple, with the cutest baby. They had the best photographer, best video company and the wonderful Delta King (and Jenny); we could not ask for a better day! These two were adorable themselves, then add their adorable baby and the whole day oozed of adorableness! Is that a word? Jenn is a nurse and Ryan works with computers; so it only made sense that the favors for their wedding guests were first aid kits and flash drives. :) These two keep busy but managed to still plan a stunning wedding.

We had Rachelle with Rachelle Photography taking awesome pictures. We just adore her! Phillip Alan Films provided the videography for the wedding. Below is their short film. We love it!

Of course the Delta King and staff are rockin’ like always! Jenny with the Delta King continued to bend over backwards (like she always does) to make sure Jen and Ryan’s Wedding was all they hoped it would be. We loved getting to know these two and their adorable daughter. Thanks Guys for letting us share in your special day!

Brittany’s Super Sweet 16: NYC Style

Brittany's Sweet 16 invitation

So my (Kami) sister was turning 16 and in April we threw her a party at our house. She is a lucky girl! ;) I did all the food which was fun, I just love to host parties for our friends and family. Brandon did her invite which is a hobby he loves. Anyways, being in the wedding industry we have LOTS of amazing professional friends. I get to see a lot and learn a lot but the one default is I have seen AMAZING! So it may have been a little overboard but I don’t care. Go big or go home right??!!

All these amazing pictures were by our beautiful, talented, amazing friend Rachelle with Rachelle Photography. She came to take some pictures and she caught the excitement and goofy-ness of my my sister. I had the sugary sweet, adorable Lisa Marie with the Sweetest Things do her NYC style cake. She blew us all away. She is by far one of our favorites, Brandon isn’t a huge sweets person but he LOVES her cake. My sister is simple and likes white cake with vanilla frosting. Lisa Marie came up with an extraordinary way to accommodate but not be too boring.  SOOO YUMMY! We sent Brit off the get her hair and make-up done by my wonderful friend Holly Meager from Salon on Madison Ave. She has done my hair for years and is always first on my list! All these people were surprises to Brit, she didn’t know about any of it!

We used our new Photo Booth for her party too. It was a hit, most of the kids that came probably have never seen the things they saw. Again she is a lucky girl. :) Here is most the kids and one of her favorite photo booth pictures with her boyfriend:

Lighting up the Citizen Hotel for Pancreatic Cancer

Pancreatic Cancer Action Network

Friday November 13 we were honored to be able to provide services for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. We try to give back as much as we can throughout the year with various fund raising events we do. We teamed up with Alan Sanchez from Good Day Sacramento. He was our guest MC for the evening. What a nice guy, he kept the flow of the auction going and energy high. Thanks for helping out!

We met Angie Schoonmaker through our wonderful friend Rachelle of Rachelle Photography who shot the event. Angie was in charge of this Fundraiser here in Sacramento. Hearing her talk about why she does this, you can feel the compassion and how dear this is to her heart. She did a phenomenal job, she worked so hard to pull it off. It was at the beautiful historic Citizen Hotel in Downtown Sacramento. This was our first event here. We have been here with other various events and I was on a planning committee with AfWPi for a mixer we had earlier this month but this was our first. We thought we would take advantage of it and also add a little more to their evening. We up lite the whole room and washed stars on the ceiling to add to the ambiance. Angie was very excited. This event meant a lot to her and her family. She said this organization helped her and her family last year when her grandfather was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer and unfortunately passed of the disease. Her great aunt is also battling this disease and is an 11 month survivor. This event had deep meaning to her and her family. We hope they were able to raise a lot of donations from the silent auctions to help those battling Pancreatic Cancer. To learn more or donate visit their website: Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.

Here’s our pictures of our lighting, thank you to the staff at the Citizen for letting us take some pictures after wards when you were trying to do your flip. :) The times we have been to the Citizen we have had nothing but great experiences. The staff is so friendly and helpful and Harmony is a sweetheart. We hope to work there again soon!

Paul and Kelly at Le Rivage

LOVE THEM! This whole family was adorable and sweet, just an all around amazing family!! I skipped a wedding from two weekends ago so look for that post later but I wanted to jump on this wedding. Paul and Kelly were married yesterday July 11 at the Le Rivage Hotel/Scott’s Seafood. We got to work with the oh so Fabulous Rachelle with Rachelle Photography. We have had a lot of weddings together this year and are so happy! She just is amazing!

We didn’t meet Paul and Kelly that long ago but we hit it off right away! They are such wonderful people and so fun to be around. They walk in a room and they lightnen it up. Kelly’s kids Connor and Haylie were the SWEETEST kids I have ever met. So willing to help and so happy for their mom. They gave the sweetest toasts, we are so excited for their whole family.

We did some fun introductions into the reception for all the wedding party which really set the mood for the night. The room looked amazing with the lighting we did and added to the ambiance Kelly wanted. It was so intimate and romantic. Here’s a few pics from the fabulous Rachelle (Here’s her blog for more) and their song choices:
