Summary of December

It was a long enjoyable month in December. We have taken some time off to regroup and now we are ready and roaring to go for 2010!! We have so many amazing brides and grooms for this year and look forward to the others we will book. If you are getting married Sound Image Entertainment would love to be a part of your big day to help make it enjoyable and full of memories!

I wanted to add some lighting that we did in December. Most of our events were Corporate events but we had a few lighting events:

First was the AfWPi Christmas dinner. I had the pleasure to be the Chair of this committee this year so got to help plan it all. I had an amazing team and line up of vendors. Mike with Creative Memories Entertainment was our fabulous DJ, he had the kids so excited when Santa came. We had gorgeous couture linens by Mimi & Co., Jeremy with Sharpe Photographers took our amazing pictures with Santa. We had a plethora of delicious food by Hannibals Catering, festive sweet cakes for each table by Shelton’s Wedding Cakes, Action Flip Books provided by Matthew Allen Weddings which was really fun and unique and the amazing staff and Bartenders from Country Club Event Center. It was an amazing event!!

A big shout out to Audrey with Botanica Floral Design. She came up with these centerpieces last minute for me and they are soooo adorable. My pictures don’t do them justice… Thanks so much Audrey!!

Josh and Lana’s Destination Wedding and Hometown Reception

This cute couple was married Thursday the 11th in Lake Tahoe and then had their reception in his parents backyard in Fair Oak on Saturday. It was a very laid back wedding, everyone there was enjoying themselves and just visiting. Mostly everything was do it yourself so not a lot of vendors. A cute idea they did was blow up some of the Ceremony pictures from Tahoe and had two huge banners with their pictures. That way it included the guests that weren’t at the Ceremony. Lana’s nieces also sung some songs and played the piano which was so sweet. The family was so close and it was not the typical wedding. They really took the time to enjoy the reception and kept the ceremony intimate to their closest family members.
